Work Environment

This role is entirely onsite, allowing Physical Therapists to engage with patients in their homes, which facilitates tailored care that responds to the unique needs of individuals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises that address the specific needs of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, wellness strategies, and home exercise programs to encourage compliance and improve recovery outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and integrate care strategies with other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of ages and diagnoses, including post-operative recovery, rehabilitation from acute injuries, chronic pain management, and geriatric care. You will play a critical role in empowering your patients to recover and regain independence, utilizing a compassionate approach tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, reflecting a commitment to advanced clinical practice.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• Strong adaptability and flexibility, allowing you to tailor your approaches to meet the varying needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, ideally with a focus on home care settings.
• Exposure to diverse patient populations, demonstrating the ability to handle various diagnoses and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
