Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging and tailored individual and group therapy sessions that meet the unique needs of clients.

• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including social workers, psychiatrists, and nurses, to develop and implement comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Actively follow up with attending physicians regarding any clients admitted to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder clients' recovery, actively working to mitigate these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing education on managing mental health issues and facilitating support when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Downtown Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your empathetic approach will be foundational in fostering trust and encouraging engagement in the therapeutic process, ultimately contributing to positive mental health outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Master's degree in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 101,000 annually, depending on experience and productivity.
