Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, tailoring assessments to highlight functional deficits.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, establishing clear goals and proposing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises such as stretching and strengthening routines tailored for individual rehabilitation goals.
• Implement modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat or ice therapy, and ensure patients understand their functions and benefits.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation protocols, and proper body mechanics to facilitate long-term recovery.
• Monitor patient progress by maintaining detailed documentation of treatment outcomes and modifying plans as necessary to align with patient changes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay engaged with the latest physical therapy research to bring innovative practices to our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve an adult patient population, focusing on those with acute and chronic conditions, as well as post-operative patients. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in making each patient feel supported during their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in the application of advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically assess patient needs and formulate effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings, especially with orthopedic or sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
