Work Environment

This is an onsite position with a focus on home care, allowing you to engage with patients in their own living environments, which can be crucial for their recovery process. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing you with a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while ensuring a consistent approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients through comprehensive physical examinations, choosing appropriate therapy techniques based on each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Implement individualized treatment plans that focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and recovery, actively searching for the best non-surgical alternatives to improve patients' conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy using diverse treatment modalities, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapies and crafting effective exercise programs to enhance strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Encourage and motivate patients, ensuring they remain engaged in their rehabilitation programs and are informed about their progress.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and occupational therapists, to track patients' progress and refine treatment approaches.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation through EMR systems, particularly using WebPT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess the efficacy of treatment methods and make adjustments as necessary, focusing on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of emerging trends, techniques, and evidence-based practices within the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population in their homes, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By delivering personalized physical therapy services, you will make a direct impact on their mobility, quality of life, and overall health.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of therapeutic modalities and techniques, exhibiting a strong ability to apply appropriate interventions based on current evidence and researched practices.
• Have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful exercise regimens that cater to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is essential for effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, specifically in outpatient care.
• Excellence in manual therapy skills and a demonstrated ability to engage patients in their recovery process.
• A background in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 – 104,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
