Physical Therapist - Therapy - Full-Time

Motion Menders Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. This full-time role will involve working primarily in an outpatient setting, where you will play a vital role in helping patients enhance their physical function and improve their overall quality of life. This position is based at our outpatient office in Newark, NJ, a vibrant location that fosters a strong sense of community and collaboration. You will be working alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Our facility utilizes a state-of-the-art electronic health record system to streamline documentation and enhance communication among team members.

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, assessing their abilities, limitations, and needs.

Educate patients and their family members on the rehabilitation process, providing them with the tools and knowledge to overcome obstacles effectively.

Meet minimum utilization and productivity goals as required to support the clinic's objectives.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for clients receiving multiple therapy services, creating cohesive care strategies.

In this role, you will engage with a wide variety of patients, including children with developmental delays, adults recovering from injuries, and seniors managing age-related physical challenges. Each patient's treatment plan will be uniquely tailored to match their specific needs, backgrounds, and therapy goals, offering a diverse and enriching experience for both the therapist and the patients.

A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference for candidates holding a Master's or DPT degree from an accredited program.

Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Ability to conduct evaluations and treatments both in-person and via telehealth as clinically appropriate.

A high level of flexibility and adaptability to thrive in an ever-evolving healthcare environment.

Excellent collaboration skills, with a strong focus on team-oriented solutions and customer service.

Previous experience in an outpatient therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare environments.

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position is competitive, with a yearly salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
