Key Responsibilities\n

• Consult with medical center staff on various patient care issues, ensuring a comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment.

• Accept additional responsibilities or special assignments that align with program goals and enhance patient care.

• Complete clinical documentation and charting accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.

• Participate in mental health committees or task forces, bringing insights and recommendations to improve services.

• Represent Head Start Youth Counseling Center at community events and meetings, advocating for mental health awareness and services.
\n
• Engage in ongoing performance improvement initiatives, utilizing data to refine treatment methodologies.

• Provide specific therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and family counseling needs, applying evidence-based practices.
\n
• Utilize designated software for developing and tracking treatment plans, ensuring they meet patient needs effectively.
\n
• Deliver individual psychotherapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their challenges.

• Facilitate marriage and family therapy services, addressing relational dynamics and promoting healthier interactions.
\n
• Coordinate referrals to additional group therapy, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, and substance abuse services as necessary.

• Manage crises with sensitivity and expertise, addressing urgent needs promptly to ensure safety and support.

• Follow departmental policies regarding patient no-shows and maintain engagement with clients to optimize care continuity.

• Participate in regular reviews of treatment progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving patient needs.

• Handle non-patient care tasks such as administrative paperwork, ensuring a seamless operational workflow within the clinic.

• Perform other assigned duties as needed to support the clinic's mission and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a LMFT at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, you will work primarily with children, adolescents, and families facing various psychosocial difficulties. You will help clients navigate issues related to familial relationships, behavioral challenges, trauma, and emotional distress. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
