Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of family dynamics and individual mental health needs.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with couples, ensuring to include individual therapy when appropriate.

• Addressing a range of issues, including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and communication difficulties.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Tracking progress and adjusting interventions as necessary based on client feedback and outcomes.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skill set.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to align therapy goals with overall health objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes individuals, couples, and families facing diverse challenges. You will engage with a variety of cases such as blended families navigating remarriage, individuals coping with separation and divorce, and families experiencing interpersonal conflicts or mental health struggles. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering healthy relationships and supporting clients from various backgrounds in their journey toward healing and wellness.

Qualifications\n

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and their families.

• Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and adapting to digital healthcare environments.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applications from newly licensed professionals, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous clinical experience working with diverse family systems and age ranges, particularly children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
