Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and identified needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat clients' mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Continuously monitor client progress by tracking symptoms and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and address broader health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also interact with vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing them with specialized support that promotes healing and recovery. Qualifications\n

• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
