Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in the emotional and mental development of your clients. Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through secure video conferencing to help clients improve their mental health.

• Facilitating discussions about emotions and experiences to promote self-insight and understanding in clients.

• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in identifying their goals and working collaboratively to achieve those objectives.

• Assessing the clients' mental health conditions, and developing comprehensive treatment plans that utilize your clinical skills and evidence-based approaches.

• Maintaining accurate case notes and treatment records through our integrated counseling platform.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We ensure that all clients are pre-screened to guarantee a good fit for your skills and preferences. You will primarily work with stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health challenges, enabling you to focus on preventive care and proactive mental health strategies. You will be paired with clients who align with your areas of expertise, ensuring a positive and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A completed Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Full licensure to practice independently in Oregon as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
