Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work comfortably from your home while being part of a supportive team. You will have the flexibility of scheduling, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts scheduled between 8 AM and 7 PM, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to gather social, personal, environmental, and health information from clients.

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to students facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate with other school personnel, families, and community resources to create tailored plans that address each client's unique needs.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, utilizing short-term resolution strategies and guidance for ongoing support.
\n
• Establish a trusting rapport with clients to foster a therapeutic environment conducive to personal growth and healing.

• Document client progress and treatment interventions diligently in accordance with established protocols.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date case load, ensuring all records reflect current services and interventions.

• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of best practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health challenges that can impact their education and social development. Recognizing the unique pressures faced by the student demographic, including academic stressors, interpersonal relationships, and family dynamics, you will provide critical support aimed at enhancing their overall mental health and academic performance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in clinical settings, preferably within educational environments.

• Prior experience providing counseling in behavioral mental health for conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and familial issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
