Staff Accountant

A top-tier investment management firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. Job Description: Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes Support cash management and related reporting Research and resolve account reconciliation discrepancies Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures Maintain and update the general ledger Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Handle internal reporting and affiliate requests Support year-end audit and tax filing processes Complete ad hoc projects as needed Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2–3 years of accounting experience (financial services preferred) Auditing or tax experience strongly preferred CPA preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and seniority levels Understanding of financial statement consolidation preferred Willingness to work extended hours when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
