Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient services, engaging with clients to facilitate their healing journeys. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, ensuring a holistic understanding of each client’s needs. Designing targeted treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, collaborating with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals. Communicating effectively with a multidisciplinary team regarding assessment findings, treatment interventions, and patient progress through regular documentation and team meetings. Delivering a range of clinical interventions, including individual therapy sessions utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities tailored to client needs. Maintaining timely and ethical documentation practices to support client care and interdepartmental communication. Providing case management services that involve liaising with local hospitals and community programs to ensure clients receive comprehensive support. Patient Population / Client Focus Our counselors have the privilege of serving a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various life transitions. You will work with clients ranging from adolescents to adults and families, ensuring that care is attuned to the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health practice, providing a solid foundation for delivering high-quality care. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate assessment findings and treatment strategies. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be an advantage as you navigate client documentation and care plans within our progressive framework. Compensation and Benefits Renewed Life Mental Health Center values the contributions of our counselors and offers a competitive salary range between USD 60,000 and 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
