Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Ideal Life Psychological Service, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a personalized caseload of clients, establishing rapport, and fostering positive working relationships through professional interaction.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to evaluate progress and stability, addressing any concerns, and planning for treatment discharge when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans aligned with each client’s goals and needs.

• Maintaining accurate and current documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to support ongoing client care.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine the best course of action for each client.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions throughout the week, tailoring approaches to meet clients’ unique circumstances.

• Participating in individual supervision to enhance your clinical skills and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on providing outpatient mental health therapy to a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families. You will work with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Possession of an unrestricted, independent, current, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas.

• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting post-graduation.

• Proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for client management and documentation.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, especially in completing intake assessments effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have experience with specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) or who have worked in innovative therapy settings that promote client engagement and retention.
