CalFresh Outreach Program Analyst Department of Social Services Salaried at $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification. Job Summary Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II is responsible for administrative and fiscal oversight of contracts with service providers who deliver outreach, education, and application assistance to eligible individuals for California’s CalFresh Outreach (CFO) program. The Analyst II leads ongoing program implementation to ensure the success of the CFO program and to increase statewide CalFresh participation. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I maintains program contracts with service providers who deliver outreach, education, and application assistance to eligible individuals for the CFO program, assisting in program implementation and statewide participation goals. Responsibilities Oversee administrative and fiscal aspects of contracts with service providers. Implement program strategies to increase CalFresh participation statewide. Lead program initiatives and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Maintain accurate program data and prepare performance reports. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and funding requirements. Serve as a primary point of contact for service providers and internal stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, policy analysis, or related field. Three (3) years of experience in program management, contract oversight, or related field. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and evaluate program outcomes. Experience managing vendor contracts and program implementation. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of CalFresh or other social welfare programs is preferred.
