Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and impairments to create effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize various treatment methodologies, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modern equipment to relieve pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient progress in accordance with industry standards, making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches based on continual assessments.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about their conditions, treatment strategies, and the safe use of assistive devices if necessary.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new graduates and colleagues, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Stay updated on best practices and advances in the field of physical therapy through continuous education and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal Physical Therapist will engage with a diverse population ranging from children to elderly adults, addressing various conditions including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. This role requires a patient-centered approach, emphasizing personalized care that respects each individual's unique challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong computer and documentation skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
