Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans that align with best practices and are responsive to client feedback.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach based on individual client goals.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

• Engaging collaboratively with other professionals in the treatment team to enhance the effectiveness of care provided and to coordinate services for students.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights, strategies, and improve therapeutic outcomes for clients.

• Providing educational resources to clients and their families about mental health management, treatment pathways, and available community resources.

• Staying informed on the latest trends and research in mental health treatment to continuously integrate best practices into clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on assisting students and their families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and trauma. By providing tailored therapeutic approaches, you will play a critical role in fostering resilience and wellbeing in this young population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on providing psychotherapy services.

• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy and various therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, enabling strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
