Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and utilizing agency resources, services, and systems to support client treatment plans effectively.

  • Completing orientation and familiarizing yourself with agency policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance and organizational coherence.
  • \n
  • Preparing thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes, pertinent research, and evaluations to tailor interventions to individual needs.
  • \n
  • Participating in small group supervision and seminars, engaging in peer review sessions, and contributing to the analysis of recorded counseling sessions.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, both written and electronic, in accordance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
  • \n
  • Coordinating services with partner agencies, optimizing client support and resource allocation.
  • \n
  • Conducting comprehensive client consultations and collaborating with other agency professionals to enhance the quality of care.
  • \n
  • Documenting case notes, assessments, and evaluations that reflect client progress and treatment effectiveness.
  • \n
  • Contributing to the creation of individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique goals and challenges.
  • \n
  • Assisting in scoring, interpreting, and reporting psychometric assessments to inform treatment strategies and client insights.
  • \n
  • Conducting supervision sessions and providing support to trainees and interns in collaboration with the site supervisor.
  • \n
  • Attending relevant meetings, including staff and clinical meetings, to engage in discussions about client care and operational procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will focus on fostering trust and rapport with clients, guiding them toward positive outcomes through effective therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

  • A current and valid Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) as per state regulations.

  • No history of medical malpractice claims, validated through a third-party verification process.

  • Authorization to work within the United States.
  • \n
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on establishing rapport and trust with clients to facilitate healing and growth.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
