Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Therapist at Stone Point, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs. Implementing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused interventions to facilitate client progress. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring confidentiality throughout all interactions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, to provide well-rounded support for clients. Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations, enhancing the quality of care and continuously refining therapeutic strategies. Providing education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions and available community support systems. Staying current on the latest developments in the mental health field to inform and innovate therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will comprise individuals from varied backgrounds, including those navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Working remotely allows you to connect with clients from diverse geographical areas, enabling you to understand and embrace unique cultural and social factors that influence mental health. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy methods, tailored to individual client circumstances. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong capacity for empathy and understanding. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed therapeutic decisions. Preferred Experience While we welcome applications from new graduates, prior experience in mental health counseling or therapeutic settings is highly valued.
