The Big Picture

Our client is a tech company startup that just reached Unicorn status. They are a small, high-performing team operating in a true startup environment: fast-paced, high-expectation, and constantly evolving. The bar is high, and the team is deeply committed to what they’re building.

This role sits directly alongside senior leadership and offers a front-row seat to how a company scales. It’s an opportunity for someone who wants to be deeply embedded in the business, not just supporting it, but helping it run.

This is not a “learn startup life as you go” kind of role. They’re specifically looking for someone who has already supported founders in a fast-moving startup environment. You understand the pace, unpredictability, and intensity that come with building a company, and you're energized by being a trusted partner who helps leaders stay focused on what matters most.

What You'll Tackle

You’ll play a critical role in keeping the Founders and the broader team aligned, organized, and operating efficiently.

  • Own complex calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization for executives
  • Provide seamless personal support, managing scheduling, appointments, reservations, household coordination, special projects, and other day-to-day matters that enable the Founders to stay focused on the business
  • Coordinate meetings end-to-end, including agendas, materials, notes, and follow-ups
  • Manage domestic and international travel logistics, often with shifting priorities
  • Act as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders (investors, partners, etc.)
  • Draft and manage communications, presentations, and confidential materials
  • Track key initiatives and ensure follow-through on priorities and deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Support planning and execution of team events, offsites, and board/investor meetings
  • Handle expense reports, invoices, and light budget/vendor coordination
  • Assist with onboarding logistics and cross-functional coordination
  • Jump in where needed — from operations to office support — as priorities evolve

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience supporting fast-moving Founders both personally and professionally with high expectations
  • Experience in a recognized, high-performing startup or high-growth environment required
  • Proven success managing a blend of business and personal priorities with discretion, urgency, and sound judgment
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

The Perks and Practicalities

Location: New York City, Flatiron District

Compensation: $150-175k

Benefits: Full benefit package, equity

Work model: Full-time, in office, 5 days
