Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to determine clients’ mental health status and needs.

• Develop individualized therapy plans based on clients’ presenting problems, treatment goals, and progress.

• Provide psychotherapeutic support through individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.

• Equip clients with coping mechanisms and therapeutic tools to facilitate their recovery and empowerment.

• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, for medication management or additional support.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress meticulously and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.

• Participate in regular supervision and clinical meetings to enhance clinical skills and share insights with multidisciplinary team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will include a diverse patient population of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health issues. You will engage with clients who may deal with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, substance use, and other emotional difficulties. Emphasis will be placed on culturally responsive care to ensure that treatment approaches align with the unique experiences of each client, enhancing their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• At least four years of clinical experience working with individuals in a mental health setting.
