Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our modern hospital facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources dedicated to dermatological care. You will collaborate with a team of experienced dermatologists and healthcare professionals in a supportive environment that fosters growth and collaboration. Our practice operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one late shift each week and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and skin examinations.
• Diagnose and formulate treatment plans for a variety of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
• Perform cosmetic dermatology procedures such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, and advanced laser treatments, adhering to the best practices for safety and efficacy.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings and deliver compassionate post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients on skincare routines and prevention strategies, fostering their understanding of skin health.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program including pertinent dermatology coursework.
• Active Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB) is required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in dermatology or a related specialty.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing cosmetic procedures, including Botox and dermal fillers, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
