Key Responsibilities\n \n Engage in collaborative treatment planning by performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients’ mental health statuses, which guide individual and family therapy sessions. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of each client, promoting not just symptom relief but also personal growth and self-awareness. \n Set therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, and continuously monitor their progress, allowing for adjustments to be made as needed throughout the treatment journey. \n Facilitate virtual therapy sessions to accommodate clients faced with challenges in attending in-person appointments. \n Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and practice guidelines to foster accountability and ensure quality care. \n Participate actively in team meetings, group supervision, and individual consultations with your clinical supervisor, enhancing your professional development and ensuring continuous improvement in therapeutic practices. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Great Lakes Psychology Clinic, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, children, and families. You will contribute to a supportive environment particularly focused on those dealing with addiction, trauma, and mental health disorders. Clinical sensitivity to clients of varying backgrounds, including communities of color and LGBTQIA individuals, is paramount. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. \n Possession of a valid, state-issued LMFT license. \n A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience is required, demonstrating a proven track record in the field. \n Preferred Experience\n Experience working with diverse populations, including children, teens, couples, and families, is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
