You will work regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting an ideal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through structured interviews and standardized tools to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their personal goals, preferences, and specific challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively manage mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care practices, fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, making data-informed adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological treatments.

• Stay abreast of current research and developments in the mental health field, continuously updating treatment modalities to enhance outcomes.

• Ensure meticulous and confidential documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from distinct backgrounds, each presenting unique life experiences and challenges. The goal is to create a safe therapeutic space where they feel comfortable expressing their emotions and actively participating in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists regarding medication management.

• A proven history of delivering positive treatment outcomes in managing mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
