Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing their unique emotional and social needs.

• Conducting thorough interviews to gather and interpret crucial social, personal, and health information relevant to client assessments.
\n
• Evaluating client needs and developing treatment plans tailored to address their specific challenges, including crisis situations and ongoing support.
\n
• Coordinating and planning programs or activities to ensure comprehensive support that meets clients' social and emotional needs.
\n
• Facilitating case management for cognitive, affective, and behavioral health issues, ensuring seamless referrals to local community resources when necessary.
\n
• Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships founded on mutual respect, acceptance, and trust.
\n
• Documenting clinical findings accurately and maintaining up-to-date client records in accordance with established protocols.
\n
• Managing a designated caseload effectively while adhering to documentation and treatment service standards.

• Providing individual clinical counseling to help clients tackle specific challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and substance use disorders.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and engaging in team meetings to refine best practices in therapy and counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges including behavioral health issues, depression, mood disorders, substance dependence, and family-related concerns. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following background will be highly regarded:
