Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with patients. You will have the advantage of working from the comfort of your home or preferred location, while still maintaining active engagement with our collaborative care team. Our remote setting allows for flexibility in managing your schedule, with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the potential for occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the psychological and emotional needs of patients, considering their medical history and current health conditions.

• Design and implement integrated treatment plans that effectively address both mental health challenges and co-occurring medical conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices tailored to diverse patient circumstances, enhancing their coping strategies and overall resilience.

• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams, ensuring cohesive patient-centered care and sharing critical insights about patients' mental health and therapeutic progress.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies and develop safety plans and follow-up strategies.

• Educate patients on the intricate relationship between mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment and recovery.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation through electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations on patient confidentiality and care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse patient population, including individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders and chronic medical conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use situations. You will leverage your expertise to deliver personalized interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and improved quality of life for these patients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.

• Strong proficiency in addressing the complex mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions, demonstrating an understanding of relevant therapeutic methodologies.

• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, showcasing excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
