Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to accurately gauge their mental health and substance use concerns, diagnosing co-occurring disorders as needed.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, leveraging evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) to address both mental health and substance use issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with effective coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and skills to enhance emotional regulation.

• Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic care by coordinating treatment efforts across various specializations.
\n
• Monitor clients’ substance use progress regularly and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients on their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the interrelation of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, therapeutic interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills in co-occurring disorder treatment and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves supporting individuals facing both mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our client population is diverse, encompassing young adults, families, and individuals from various backgrounds. You will work closely with these clients to help them navigate their unique challenges, aiming to enhance their quality of life and promote sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Maryland as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to co-occurring disorders.

• A solid understanding of the dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically working with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy in diverse clinical environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
