Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations of patients to understand their physical conditions and specific symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and formulating tailored treatment plans that optimize recovery.
• Educating patients on correct therapeutic exercises and ensuring they perform them safely and effectively.
• Utilizing hands-on techniques such as therapeutic massage or electrical stimulation to promote healing.
• Guiding patients on the use of mobility aids, including wheelchairs, walkers, or orthotic devices, to enhance their independence.
• Keeping detailed patient records, tracking progress towards established goals, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicating with patients and their families about in-home exercises and the importance of ongoing self-care.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
