Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients displaying symptoms of mood disorders, determining the severity, frequency, and impact on day-to-day functioning.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Valor Therapy Center, you will primarily work with clients suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will be critical in helping clients navigate the complexities of their situations and facilitate their path toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
