Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor with Mindful Moments Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on building rapport and developing therapeutic relationships that facilitate mental health improvement.

• Encouraging clients to share their emotions and life experiences, thereby helping them gain insight into their behaviors and relationships.

• Acting as a client advocate, guiding them in identifying their goals and working toward achieving them.

• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions, creating, and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with have been carefully screened to ensure a suitable match with your skills and specialties. All clients are stable adults experiencing low acuity issues, ensuring a more manageable caseload. This allows counselors to employ their expertise without dealing with severe mental health cases, thereby maximizing productivity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A full, unrestricted license to practice in the state of New Jersey as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong interpersonal skills and a naturally empathetic disposition, enabling effective client interactions.

• Proficiency in computer usage, especially in utilizing online therapy platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience. Experience in an outpatient setting or with teletherapy is highly advantageous, as it aligns with our remote service delivery model.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mindful Moments Therapy offers a competitive salary structure with an annual compensation range of USD 9,000 to 10,400. In addition to this competitive salary, we provide:
