Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health challenges, establish clinical diagnoses, and formulate individualized treatment plans aligned with their goals.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, and group therapy as needed, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practice.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute mental health distress, ensuring their immediate safety and facilitating access to necessary resources.
\n
• Document all client interactions, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers—to deliver integrated care that addresses clients' overall wellbeing.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment methods, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and peer supervision to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy.

The clients you will serve at Metro West Behavioral Health Center include a diverse population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
