Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, allowing for the creation of individualized and effective treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other appropriate techniques to foster clients' personal growth and improvements in mental well-being.

• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and consistently monitor progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Offer teletherapy options, providing essential flexibility for clients who prefer virtual sessions or face challenges in accessing in-person care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress, in alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, such as training and supervision, to continually enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will allow you to work with a diverse range of clients struggling with various mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. You will play a significant part in facilitating healing and growth for individuals from different backgrounds and life experiences, providing them with the tools to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license to practice in New Jersey as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic environment for clients.

• Exhibiting empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and challenges.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload effectively and complete administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience using telehealth platforms and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be beneficial. Additionally, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or evidence-based therapeutic methods will find their skills particularly valuable in our practice.
