Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients, meticulously documenting case details from the initial consultation through the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional states, applying evidence-based practices to assess their needs and circumstances accurately.

• Design and implement personalized intervention plans targeting individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on their unique challenges and goals.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to orchestrate comprehensive care for clients.

• Facilitate follow-up communications with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospital care, ensuring continuity of support.

• Proactively identify behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these barriers.

• Support family members and primary caregivers with strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively, offering resources and education as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, who present a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our practice emphasizes a culturally sensitive approach, recognizing the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each client to tailor comprehensive treatment plans that address specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as AVATAR, ensuring accurate documentation and effective client management.

• Comprehensive understanding of the interplay between mental health, physical health conditions, and addiction, allowing for holistic client assessments.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to clients and collaborate with fellow healthcare providers.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities that reflect a supportive and empathetic nature when interacting with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and treatment modalities.

• Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of best practices as established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Adept understanding of psychotropic medications and their impact on mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
