Work Environment\n

This position is remote, offering flexibility while maintaining our commitment to high-quality care. Our therapists work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours required on a rotating basis based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and substance use patterns, identifying the presence and impact of co-occurring disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on evidence-based interventions, integrating strategies for mental health improvement and substance use rehabilitation.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients develop essential skills, including coping mechanisms, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation strategies.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to coordinate care and deliver integrated treatment solutions that address all aspects of the client's health.

• Engage in motivational interviewing and regular substance use monitoring to empower clients throughout their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment protocols.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of treatment interventions and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, trainings, and case conferences to enhance treatment strategies and share insights on co-occurring disorder therapies.

You will work primarily with clients facing the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A solid understanding of the dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders and their impact on client outcomes.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within and across interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, those with extensive work with co-occurring disorders will find particular resonance in our treatment approach.
