This role operates within a dynamic telehealth setting, which enables you to reach young patients across Chicago and beyond. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to effectively address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.

• Conduct family therapy sessions to support parents and caregivers in fostering a nurturing environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a well-coordinated treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies affecting young patients.

• Educate families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. You will work closely with young individuals and their families to develop therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience. Your contributions will directly impact their overall mental health journey and outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in child and adolescent therapy.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods and therapeutic approaches tailored for young clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate, child-centered care.

• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families, ensuring they feel safe and supported.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to utilize digital tools in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and community mental health resources will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
