Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments: Utilize structured clinical interviews and standardized assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic services: Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, groups, and families, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.

• Collaboration: Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated approach to client care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s mental health are addressed.

• Crisis intervention: Assess and respond to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing therapeutic techniques and de-escalation strategies to provide immediate support and resources.

• Community engagement: Participate in outreach and educational initiatives within the Buffalo community to promote mental wellness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A completed master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
