Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct mental health services to clients, including weekly individual counseling sessions tailored to their unique needs.

• Lead group therapy sessions to facilitate shared learning experiences and support among clients, adhering to scheduled program timelines.

• Collaborate closely with primary therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the diverse modalities of care.

• Regularly update and maintain comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring all methods of therapy are included for effective and holistic care.

• Interface with family members and referral sources, maintaining weekly communication to track client progress and address any concerns.

• Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and training to refine service delivery and uphold best practices in mental health care.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings, bringing insights and experiences that shape our collaborative approach.

• Ensure thorough documentation of services rendered, meeting licensing standards for quality assurance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base encompasses a diverse demographic, including individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges. Successful candidates will be prepared to address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational problems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field such as Counseling or Clinical Social Work is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, or LMHC in California is mandatory, as we cannot accept associates licenses due to Medicare billing policies.

• Proficient in various computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite, to support effective documentation and communication.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases and clients.

• Strong self-direction and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with the geriatric population is preferred, providing a deeper understanding of age-related challenges.
