Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account co-occurring medical conditions impacting patients' mental health. Design and implement integrated treatment plans tailored to each individual, addressing psychiatric disorders alongside medical issues. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies that support patient engagement and personal growth. Work closely with medical providers to coordinate care, ensuring that treatment strategies are aligned and holistic. Respond to mental health emergencies by providing crisis intervention and support for patients that may be in distress. Educate patients about the interplay between mental health and physical well-being, empowering them with knowledge to manage their own health better. Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards. Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and provider collaborations to enhance patient care and outcomes. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in integrated mental health care practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our therapists work with a diverse population of adults and adolescents who are managing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders. Many clients also face co-occurring medical challenges, including autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and substance use issues. This role is integral to helping patients navigate their unique circumstances and achieve improved mental and physical health outcomes through integrative care. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon. Demonstrated experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality. Proficient with electronic health records and familiar with various computer applications related to clinical practice. Preferred Experience Experience in an outpatient mental health setting, with a focus on integrated care approaches. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities suitable for working with clients with chronic medical conditions. History of engaging in continuing education programs and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
