Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand students' mental health issues, strengths, and resources.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address student needs, incorporating feedback from parents and school staff.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, risk assessments, and safety planning to ensure students' well-being.
\n
• Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to foster community and shared learning.
\n
• Document all encounters with meticulous attention to detail, in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, and other school staff to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases and share insights, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing various psychological and emotional challenges they may face in their developmental journey. This includes not only treating existing mental health issues but also implementing preventative measures and resources to create a supportive educational atmosphere.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health or outpatient environment is required, preferably with a school-based focus.

• Strong knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a school system or with children and adolescents is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth systems and remote therapy practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
