This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver required services from the comfort of your home while maintaining work-life balance. Although primarily remote, you may occasionally be required to engage in in-person meetings or training sessions within our Rochester, NY outpatient office. Regular work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, promoting a structured yet flexible schedule that supports your productivity and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Everside Counseling Center, you will:

• Engage with trauma injury patients, providing empathetic support as they navigate various mental and emotional challenges.

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and utilize clinical expertise to diagnose mental or emotional disorders.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, including coping strategies tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Educate patients and their families on effective stress and trauma coping mechanisms, fostering greater self-management and resilience.

• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure ongoing support.

• Collaborate with medical professionals, social service agencies, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

• Keep abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and participate in continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma injuries, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression due to recent or historical events. Compensation and Benefits\n
