This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your own home while ensuring access to our patients throughout Orlando and beyond. Our work schedule follows a standard business week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health status, needs, and goals, developing customized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Engage empathetically with patients during individual therapy sessions, listening to their concerns, diagnosing mental or emotional disorders as necessary, and collaboratively establishing effective coping strategies.

• Utilize tools such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring optimal care delivery.

• Educate patients on stress management techniques and coping mechanisms related to trauma, providing them with resources to facilitate personal growth and well-being.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, ensuring that they have access to a full spectrum of necessary services.

• Stay informed of the latest counseling practices and methodologies by completing continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification.

• Contribute to a supportive team environment by sharing insights and methodologies that may enhance patient care and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, a demographic often facing complex mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
