Work Environment

Located in the vibrant setting of Deerfield Beach, our rehabilitation center offers state-of-the-art facilities and equipment designed to facilitate effective therapy. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Your interactions will primarily occur in a clinical atmosphere where collaboration and communication with fellow health professionals are encouraged to enhance patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Wellness, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish individual goals and treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Maintain a structured patient schedule, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized attention.
• Design and implement effective therapy programs, utilizing modalities that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions to maximize patient recovery.
• Document all therapy sessions accurately in electronic medical record software, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance and communication within the healthcare team.
• Monitor and evaluate each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and objectives.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment process, fostering motivation and a proactive approach to their rehabilitation.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, consulting effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy outcomes, preventive strategies, and home exercise programs to support ongoing health and wellness.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's degree or Doctorate preferred).
• Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
