Key Responsibilities

• Engage in effective communication with patients, family members, and healthcare colleagues to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of treatment plans and therapeutic progress.
• Provide one-on-one patient care, conducting thorough initial evaluations, and developing customized treatment plans based on individual needs and progress.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including clinical assessments, treatment outcomes, billing documentation, and correspondence to meet all regulatory and compliance standards.
• Maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and demonstrate acceptable performance in all patient interactions, assessing progress and adapting treatments as necessary.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA guidelines, Medicare rules, and properly applying coding standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult clients who are recovering from various physical injuries or conditions, chronic illnesses, and post-operative rehabilitation. Understanding the unique challenges each patient faces will be crucial in delivering tailored care that yields positive rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A current Florida PT license to practice is mandatory.
• Proven clinical experience of one or more years, preferably in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, coupled with proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is ideal, showcasing versatility in clinical approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitative exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for patient documentation and treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits
