Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, designed specifically for rehabilitation services. You will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, assistants, and administrative staff, dedicated to providing comprehensive care. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, allowing you to deliver effective treatments in a comfortable and motivating environment. Normal operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing our team a consistent work schedule while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to recognize their objectives and incorporate their goals into effective treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load that allows for focused, individualized care, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure quality interaction and therapy application.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to facilitate recovery and enhance patients' movement capabilities.
• Develop and implement customized treatment interventions based on best practice guidelines, considering each patient's specific condition and circumstances.
• Educate patients on non-surgical alternatives and proactive wellness strategies to minimize reliance on medication.
• Design and lead tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary to promote optimal performance.
• Document all interactions thoroughly using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and effective patient outcomes, including consultations with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive attitude towards achieving their health goals.
• Continually evaluate therapeutic outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans based on measured progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of adults recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and patients managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Experience using EMR software, including familiarity with WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in patient interaction and communication, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse patient populations.
• A background in creating and implementing evidence-based treatment plans is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a generous paid time off (PTO) policy, which includes 10 PTO days and flexibility for scheduling holidays.
