Key Responsibilities

• Engage meaningfully with patients through personal interaction, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring that each patient's plan is specific to their condition and goals.
• Utilize advanced software tools to objectively measure patient progress and outcomes, integrating data into treatment adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, re-evaluations, and discharge notes, ensuring compliance with clinical and legal standards.
• Assess and interpret patient data to tailor care strategies effectively, accommodating age-specific needs and any comorbidities that may affect treatment.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to provide a unified approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. As a physical therapist at Empower Move, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and facilitating optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida; temporary permits are acceptable until full licensure is obtained.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or HealthCare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage cases effectively.
• Familiarity with documentation software and outcome measurement tools to evaluate patient progress.
• Strong communication skills to engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
