Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and intake interviews to evaluate each client's mental health status, needs, and goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique concerns of each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide consistent follow-up sessions, using therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs to assist clients in managing their mental health conditions.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, making referrals as necessary to critical services such as psychiatry or specialized therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals who face a range of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your sensitivity to cultural backgrounds and experiences will be fundamental in developing meaningful therapeutic relationships and effective interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment practices and a solid understanding of mental health disorders.

• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and effective communication techniques.
