This role involves legal research, case management, document preparation, discovery coordination, and trial support while ensuring smooth case progression and deadline compliance.Core DutiesCommunicate with clients, courts, vendors, and third parties to collect information and documentationConduct legal research using platforms such as Lexis and PACERPrepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and correspondenceOrganize case files, manage litigation timelines, and maintain calendarsReview, manage, and coordinate document production during discoveryAssist with federal/state court filings and administrative submissionsSupport trial, arbitration, and deposition preparation, including exhibitsUtilize document management and litigation support softwareRequired BackgroundHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of paralegal experience in litigation or related practice areasStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with document execution and PDF editing toolsPreferred ExperienceNotary certificationFamiliarity with document management systems and billing softwareExperience with litigation support tools (e.g., CaseMap, TrialDirector)Federal court filing experienceExposure to ERISA, employment law, or commercial litigationKey CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to manage multiple deadlines effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesSelf-driven, dependable, and team-orientedSchedule & BenefitsFull-time, onsite role (Monday–Friday) with occasional extended hoursCompetitive pay, health coverage, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development support
