Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms such as depression and anxiety, and track their frequency and duration.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, taking into account their unique needs, personal goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and streamline treatment for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, applying new knowledge to improve clinical practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Care Sense Therapy, you will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse client base that includes adults, teenagers, and families, many of whom may be facing significant life challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, or refugee status. Your therapeutic approach will make a substantial difference in their lives, guiding them toward recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
\n

• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences are imperative.
