This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while you provide outpatient counseling services. Our outpatient office, based in Dallas, serves diverse populations, including adults and youth, addressing various mental health needs and challenges. You will have the autonomy to manage your caseload effectively while being supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans that promote healing and growth.

• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding client progress, treatment adjustments, and case developments.

• Develop and share a detailed schedule that outlines your appointments, home visits, and observations while ensuring adequate support for each client's journey.

• Coordinate essential home visits for assessments and data collection, which may involve collaborating with family members and other caregivers.
\n
• Ensure effective implementation of program plans, monitoring treatment efficacy, and modifying approaches as necessary for optimal results.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss challenges, successes, and new strategies in care provision.
\n
• Document and submit detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client advancements and uphold compliance standards.
\n
• Organize training sessions to ensure that all staff are proficient in program implementation and documentation procedures.
\n
• Follow up with clients through interviews and home visits to provide continued support and encouragement.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records for easy access by authorized personnel and external stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison with the wider mental health community to foster collaboration and enhance service delivery.

• Assist in creating and refining training materials that enhance program effectiveness for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied client base, including both adults and youths facing mental health challenges. You will focus on delivering therapeutic interventions for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be essential in tailoring counseling approaches that resonate with different individuals, families, and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical context, is essential.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practice.
