Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to identify students' mental health concerns while determining effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver short-term individual counseling services focused on crises or specific emotional and psychosocial issues that students may face.

• Organize and facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops that address relevant topics such as stress management, relationship building, and personal development.

• Work in conjunction with academic advisors, student organizations, and health services to enhance the holistic support framework for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is the student population of the university, primarily young adults aged 18-24, who encounter unique transitional challenges. Counselors will address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, and interpersonal relationship concerns. You'll be instrumental in providing support that empowers students to thrive both academically and personally during their educational journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of the mental health challenges affecting college students, along with proven strategies to address these concerns.
