This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver services effectively. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses, identifying key areas for intervention.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based therapy methods.

• Regularly monitor client progress through scheduled virtual sessions, providing tools and strategies for self-management and growth.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying culturally responsive principles to engage diverse populations.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

• Respond promptly and effectively to client crises, utilizing strong crisis intervention skills to navigate challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Understanding the various cultural backgrounds and individual differences among clients is crucial for providing effective treatment, as we aim to create a welcoming and effective environment for all.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and commitment to ethical practice.

• Ability to deliver individualized and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
